Just like you, I'm a parent who's been there! After having two kids, I was constantly washing my cotton change mat cover after every messy nappy change. I searched high and low for something practical, wipeable, and cute — and came up empty.

So, I made one myself.

Sunny Change was born out of that everyday frustration. We are proudly an Australian small business, reinventing nursery essentials to make life easier for modern parents.

Our change mat covers are waterproof, wipeable, and super soft—combining practicality with comfort and style. Unlike traditional fabric covers that require frequent washing, ours can be easily wiped clean, saving time and effort for busy parents.

Are the covers machine washable?

Yes, while our covers are designed to be wiped clean daily, they are also machine washable for a deeper clean when needed. Just use a gentle cycle with cold water and air dry in the shade.

Will the covers fit my change mat?

Our covers are designed to fit most standard change mats up to 50x80x15cm. Each cover includes elastic edging to ensure a snug, secure fit.

Are the materials safe for babies?

Absolutely! Our covers are made from 100% Polyester + PU (Polyurethane) coating. All materials used are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and non-toxic, ensuring a safe and gentle surface for your baby’s skin.

Do the covers feel cold and plastic-ey?

Not at all! While they’re waterproof and wipeable, our covers are made from a soft-touch material that feels warm and smooth—never cold or plastic-ey. Parents are often surprised by how soft they actually feel.

Can I use these covers with a change mat that has raised sides?

Yes! Our covers are stretchy and flexible, making them a great fit for most change mats, including those with raised edges. When you first put the cover on, it might look a little puffed up with air, but don’t worry—give it a few minutes and it will settle down and mould into the shape of your mat for a smooth, snug fit.
