Hi, I’m the mum behind Sunny Change – and like many parents, I’ve been through the chaos of nappy changes, outfit swaps, and never-ending laundry piles. After having two little ones of my own, I found myself constantly soaking and washing cotton change mat covers. Every mess felt like another load of washing. I kept thinking, surely there’s a better way?

I searched everywhere for something that was practical, easy to clean, and still looked cute in my nursery — but the perfect option just didn’t exist.

So, I decided to create it myself.

Sunny Change was born from that everyday frustration — and a belief that parenting gear should make life easier, not harder. I wanted something wipeable, waterproof, and soft enough for delicate skin, without the cold or plasticky feel. And just as importantly, I wanted it to look good — playful, bright, and fun enough to bring joy to the daily routine.

We’re a proudly Australian small business, designing modern, mess-friendly essentials for real families. Our change mat covers are made for life’s little accidents — durable enough to handle spills, soft enough to keep your baby comfy, and bold enough to make a statement in any nursery.
